i'm glad to be here. i've been getting my craft on more often of late, thanks to many talented friends and family members who are encouraging me through their own talent to make use of my own. it's fun! (thanks, unemployment!) and i'm getting a kick out of sharing my projects and theirs with others. so this blog- this little venture o' mine into blogland- is to document and share my projects and theirs.
i've been feeling lately like it's important to enhance and beautify as many of our experiences as possible (tho some are too beautiful on their own to add anything to). darling husband is a synesthete, like nabokov and tori amos, which means in his case that when he sees a letter, he sees a corresponding color. (i think H is orangey-red.) i'm a little bit jealous of the cool inner workings of his brilliant mind. so consider kate and her fabulous choreography a bit of forced synesthesia as you read this blog.
